With ChatBlazer 8, HTTP tunneling support is now an inbuilt component and does not rely on an external J2EE server as previously done. This reduced the complexity of setting up HTTP tunneling for *nix based systems that generally use the Apache web server with mod_proxy. All that is required are a few lines in Apache's configuration file.

However, on Windows-based servers that use IIS 5/6, this functionality does not come easy. The usual alternative is to rely on 3rd-party software that provides "HTTP proxying" of content. Below are some software that may work but we have not tested them as yet.
