Here are the details of the changes and additions in Phase 2.
- Major enhancements to Moderator feature:
- Queued messages for a speaker are not discarded if the speaker leaves the room
- Raise Hand -- Participants can now "raise their hands" to indicate their intent to speak.
- Mic Passing -- Mic passing mimics a real-life conference whereby only a person with the "mic" can speak up, usually used in an audio-video moderated session.
- UI enhancements:
- Icon to see which users are viewing me
- User-is-typing notification
- AV enhancements:
- AV windows can now be floated or docked (within the chat client, not separate browser window)
- Added AV library feature -- This allow users to view uploaded AV clips and even add YouTube!(tm) video clips.
- Blocking AV views, users can now block other users from seeing their your AV streams
- Added AV support for Wowza Media Server
- Chat Timer feature -- Out-of-the-box support for "pay for time" usage model of certain chat communities
